The
red-haired prop-laden comedian got his start in the comedy clubs of South
Florida.
I operated several comedy clubs in the Miami area, and Carrot Top would
make regular appearances on our "Open Mike" nights.
As he improved, I was able to give him paid bookings, and watch his
career grow.
His career didn't simply 'grow', it skyrocketed---and the rest is
