Don Martin
| The
late, great MAD Magazine cartoonist was a fan of stand-up comedy.
His occasional visits to my Miami comedy club inspired us to name a table
in his honor. The "Don Martin"
table was always reserved for Don and his wife Norma if they were to show up on
any given evening. Don also gave us
a framed print of one of his wonderfully outlandish drawings, personally
inscribed to my brother and I, to hang in the comedy club. |
