Before going into comedy
full-time, I worked as the Public Relations Director for the American Heart
Association of Greater Miami. We
had an annual five-day fund-raiser on Cat Cay Island in the Bahamas.
This was also the private getaway spot for President Nixon and his friend
Bebe Reboso, who were there one year at the same time we were.
I
hosted a comedy show at the event, but we were unable to get President Nixon to
attend. However, I did have an
opportunity to meet him the next day, and the President and I shared a laugh or
two while we posed for the photo you see here. |
