| My
wife and I had the pleasure of being the guests of Don Rickles on a visit to Las
Vegas.
Don was friendly with my uncle Sonny Schwartz, a radio talk show host in
Atlantic City.
Sonny had told Don about me, and how I operated comedy clubs in Atlantic
City and South Florida.
When Susan and I took a trip to Las Vegas, we were Don's guests for his
show, and got to spend some time with he and his wife Barbara after the show.
We also got to see him and visit him backstage during a visit to Atlantic
City, when we both were appearing in town the same week. |
